The International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies (IFHNOS) was founded in 1987. Over the years it has conducted numerous programs of continuing education, including quadrennial world congresses, the very popular world tour program and offers on line educational resources on its web site www.ifhnos.net
It also conducts a Global On Line Fellowship (GOLF) program and approves centers of excellence around the world for hands on training in Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology.
This year IFHNOS introduces a new program called the “Head and Neck Cancer Summit”, a comprehensive multidisciplinary didactic program covering the entire field of head and neck surgery and oncology. This will be a three-day program in person, and will consist of lectures, panel discussions, tumor boards and video sessions on operative techniques.
